Dear Friend,

We’re just weeks away from the biggest moment of this campaign, and we need you there.

On Wednesday, September 16th, we're holding our Residents Forum. We invited the decision-makers behind 900 Helmcken to come and answer to the community. So far, the Minister of Health, Josie Osborne, hasn't responded. Whether she shows up or not, we'll be there, and we'd like you there too.

RSVP here to save your seat. If you’ve already registered, invite 5 of your friends to join you.

That’s our top priority.

Here are two more things you can do this week to keep the pressure on.

1. Email Solterra directly. “We build neighbourhoods.” That’s Solterra’s slogan. Ours is the one they’ve decided to tear down. Send a note to info@solterradev.com and tell them what this decision means for our community. Not sure what to say? Copy and paste this:

Subject: 900 Helmcken

As a resident/business owner in this community, I'm asking Solterra to reconsider its role in turning 900 Helmcken into a drug consumption site. A company that says it builds neighbourhoods should not be dismantling one. Please stand with this community.

The more emails that land in their inbox, the harder we are to dismiss. As a reminder, this is what Solterra owns and operates:

2. Share the message. Most people in this city have no idea this is happening. Change that. Share this video and inplainsightbc.com with five friends, neighbours, or anyone who believes a community deserves a say in its own future.

We can't out-spend Solterra. But we can out-organize them. Let's show them what a real neighbourhood looks like.

More soon,

Neighbours of 900 Helmcken
